He is gone, but not departed,
He is alive.
He has left us to be one with God,
And thus, while he is not breathing, he is in the wind.
He is not seeing, but he is in the sunrise. And the sunset. And the moonlight. And the changing of seasons.
He is not feeling, but he is in the rains. And the sunshine. And the first fall of snow. And all the splendor of nature.
What joy he must be feeling!
To be one with his Father.
To be one with his family.
To be one with all of God’s children gone before him.
To have his questions answered.
To have no physical restraint.
To dance in the wind.
Tracy Eric Writes… In honor of Geoffrey Ibrahim. The only uncle that believed I could do anything if I put my mind to it. The uncle that just straight up believed in all that was good in the world. The man who was gentle in his words and attitude, but firm in his spirit. The man that set out to be the best he could be in everything he did. The man that lived to serve others. The man that laughed because he was funny. The man that was ready to have a conversation. The man that prayed like he was on fire for the Lord. The man that should have lived another 50 years. You are never forgotten. 11/03/2017 was not the end. You live on. 2Corinthians 4:16-18. Rest in His Glory. ❤️
