The Breath of Life

I am the Origin of the air in your lungs
I am the heartbeat of millions
I was in the beginning
I am the Breath of Life.

From the sketches of Creation I was invented
From the Giver of Life I was situated
From His lungs to your lungs I was resurrected
I am the Breath of Life.

I am not the wind nor the air you see
I am not the River nor the Tree
I am not like them, although it is life that we bring
I am the Breath of Life.

I have no end, but I do leave
For I was created to be the canvass of immortal beings
But since they are mortal, I am now the frame of the human beings
I am the Breath of Life.

I am not a creature that I am limited
But neither am I a Spirit that I am unlimited
I am a tool of my Maker, to His will I am submitted
I am the Breath of Life.

You mortals may not understand my relationship with the Maker
Like life support we work together
He is the Life and I support it whenever
I am the Breath of Life.

I cannot be defeated
For I am of my Maker
I am of His sinews, and He is of mine
I am the Breath of Life.

Understand that Death is not the end of me
If you believe so, you must’ve been listening to the enemy
For Death only releases your soul from ‘support’ to ‘Life’ eternally
I do not die. I am the Breath of Life.

I may be the rise of your chest
But I am also the heartbeat of your soul
I am what separates you from an animal or clay and soil
I am the Breath of Life.

I AM the Origin of the air in your lungs
I AM the heartbeat of millions
I WAS in the beginning
I AM the Breath of Life.
